And sign up for the FB petition to get Betty White to host SNL. She’s never done it before! How has Charles Barkeley hosted twice and Betty not once! Or to be more topical, “What up with that?!? What up with that?!?!”

6. And listen to this song. It’s not super new (it’s crazy that I’m saying that- it was posted online a week ago and it’s already not new. ah, internet. you’re cold and haughty). But it’s super fun. Caribou will be touring soon- I saw them play a few years ago and he drummed his heart out without shoes. It was adorbs.

French First Lady Takes A Stand On Love, Turds

The headline really says it all. Carla Bruni is a famous model, former paramour of Eric Clapton and Mick Jagger, and a fairly well-respected singer-songwriter. And yes, she’s married to the French President. Her filofax is pretty hectic. I bet she doesn’t have the time to watch ‘Pretty Woman’ every time it’s on TBS, just so she can say ‘Can I call you Eddie?’.

Anyway, she was promoting her new album on a TV show and she performed the Moldy Peaches’ ‘Anyone Else But You’ (of Cera+Page ‘Juno’ fame) with some French heartthrob dude.

Kimya Dawson was gleeful. French audiences swooned. As for me? It’s no cover of ‘Mother and Child Reunion‘, but it’s kind of fun to hear.

And I finally get to write the word chanteuse.
